About Point-of-Sale Integration for NewBook
Two-way point-of-sale integration that links your camp kiosk, cafe, licensed bar, camp store and hire-shop tills to the guest folio in NewBook Cloud. Every purchase — coffee, ice, firewood, kayak hire, bike hire, camp kitchen tokens — is posted to the guest reservation in real time and settled at check-out through the same rail as the accommodation charge. Supports Kounta by Lightspeed, Impos, Vend, Square for Restaurants and any POS with an OpenAPI. Handles split payments, tab consolidation, refunds and voids. Includes a signed audit trail for every folio movement and a nightly reconciliation report that reconciles POS Z-reads against NewBook folio postings to the cent.
How to get started
Add to cart and place the order
Add the module to your cart and place the order. A payment link and account access instructions arrive by email.
Access your CloudBookMod account
Use the access link sent by email to open your Client Area. Your NewBook module is ready to configure.
Connect your NewBook API credentials
Enter your NewBook API key under Settings → Connected NewBook Account. Need help retrieving your API key? See the NewBook access guide.
Configure and go live
Follow the module’s own configuration wizard. The first synchronisation with your NewBook account runs within 15 minutes of activation.
